Jay A. Weinberg, Esq. established the Law Office of Jay A. Weinberg in 1996. He was admitted in 1989 to practice law in the State of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is currently admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
Mr. Weinberg’s approach to law is pragmatic – give each client excellent service and do an excellent job. He practices with a commitment to the client, himself and to the legal profession. Clients deserve focused, accountable, knowledgeable representation. Hard work makes these goals easier to achieve, and Mr. Weinberg strives to give each client the best possible representation and obtain the best results they can hope for.

Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Weinberg has appeared in the United States Federal Court located in Newark, Trenton, and Camden, in New Jersey State Courts in almost every County in New Jersey, and in Municipal Courts throughout the State. He served as a private prosecutor for a number of corporations for ten years in eight municipal courts.
Personal Life
Jay Weinberg is married with two children. Outside of law, and his commitment to his family and close friends, Jay enjoys running, swimming, hiking, mountain biking and skiing, reading and chess, and has been an avid martial artist. He diligently studied kung fu in the 1980s, has obtained the rank of black belt in two styles of Japanese Karate and is currently a black belt in the difficult and very challenging grappling art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The principles of martial arts carry over to his practice of law – work hard, seek leverage and understand opportunity, respect, patience, and timing.
